Fitting rooms with dreams of the future
To bring the fun back into trying on clothes, bonprix has introduced a completely new fitting room experience in its Hamburg “fashion connect” store. The chosen articles (scanned via smartphone app) await the customer — after a short stop in the store’s own “Fashion Bar” — in a reserved changing cubicle with pleasant ventilation and four light scenarios to choose from. Here, a large display mirrors the bonprix app, guiding the customer through the fitting procedure. Another highlight is the automatically controlled sliding door through which additional sizes of the garments are supplied directly to the “feel-good cubicle”. This as well as other technical refinements are made possible with the help of an invisible RFID chip system, among other things. The pilot store was developed, tested and realised, complete with digital connection, in collaboration with Vizona, dan pearlman, the light experts from Ansorg and many other partners. Consistent digital assistance from check-in to check-out … this is where dreams of the future are already reality.
